Mrs. Terry (Bond) Norris, age 59, of Lavonia, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her home.
Born October 13, 1957 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late James Bond, Sr. and Cecil Aldrich Bond. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by daughters: Kandie (Norris) Hamby and Kristie (Norris) Rios; grandchildren: Lilly Hamby, Lorelai Hamby, Logan Phillips, Jakob Hamby, Libby Hamby and Emmanuel Rios; siblings: Shirley Kay, Sandra Norris, Barbara Dixon and Pamela Chandler; and by her former husband and friend: Billy Ray Norris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: James Bond, Jr.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
