Mrs. Thelma Lee Swafford Moore, 92, of Paradise Point Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home.
Born on March 28, 1928 in Rockwood TN, she was the daughter of the late Garland Swafford and Ersie Swafford.Mrs. Moore was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son: Bill Moore (Christine) of Dawsonville GA; two daughters: Juanita Mount of Dahlonega GA, Dianne Bruce (Ricky) of Hartwell; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: William A. Moore one son: Jim Moore; one daughter: Kathleen Moore; one brother: Welsey Swafford and one sister: Cleo Teague.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home.Other times the family will be at the home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Moore will be held Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Chris Pritchett officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
