Theresa Louise Collins Bowman Cobb, age 74, of Martin, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

Born July 13, 1948, in Duluth, she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. Collins, Sr. and Betty Jean Knight Collins. She worked in manufacturing and customer service, but her most important and treasured job was being "Mom". She will be remembered for her love and support of her children and grandchildren. She was of the Jehovah's Witness faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Cobb, Sr.; sister: Patricia Ann Christenson; and brothers: Bruce W. Collins and Barry G. Collins.

She is survived by her children: Trena L. Moon, Michael G. Bowman, and Melissa M. Turner (Kevin); grandchildren: Edmond Williams, Michael Williams (Hannah Standridge), Jessie Williams (Amy), Zachary Bowman (Taylor Middleton), Valerie Pelles (Brittany Martin), Felicity Pelles, Jaden Ayers, and Kurtis Turner; great-grandchildren: Levi Williams, Neveah Williams, Noah Williams, Kastyn Williams, Bryhn Martin, and Rachel Pelles, sisters: Wanda Sue Bowman and Juanita Harris; brothers: Arthur W. Collins, Jr. and Gary Collins; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the service. Flowers are accepted.
