Mr. James Thomas Lee, 65, of Hatchett Road, Madison AL, formerly of Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Madison Hospital, Madison AL.

Born in Royston GA, he was the son of Bennie F. Lee and the late Minnie Harris Lee.Mr. Lee was retired from Norton & Lee Construction and a member of the Franklin Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father: Bennie Lee of Lavonia; two sisters: Debbie Bruce and her husband Ricky of Hartwell and Judy Lee of Lavonia; several nieces and nephews also survive.Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers: Randy Lee and Eddie Lee and a sister: Barbara Hilley.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Adam Veal and Rev. Dan Bailey officiating.Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Royston.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.The family is at the home of Debbie and Ricky Bruce, 377 Norman Road, Hartwell.
