Timmy Wicker

Mr. James Timothy “Timmy” Wicker, 63, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at his home.

Born on May 9, 1963, in Hartwell GA, he was the son of James Harold Wicker and Dorothy Temple Wicker. Timmy retired from the City of Hartwell Sanitation Department and Walmart. He was also of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his parents: James Harold Wicker and Dorothy Wicker of Hartwell; a nephew: Keith Wicker of Hartwell; a niece: Jessie Wicker of Hartwell; an aunt: Sara Fowler of Hartwell; an uncle: Ronnie Wicker of Hartwell and several cousins also survive. Timmy was preceded in death by his brother: Tony Wicker.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Timmy will be held at a later date by the family.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is assisting the family with all of the arrangements.
