Mrs. Tiny Maxine (Greer) Wright, age 79, of Eastanollee, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born April 5, 1929, in Fayetteville NC, she was the daughter of the late Justus M. Greer, Sr. and Carrie Lee (Williams) Greer. Mrs. Wright was a graduate of Toccoa High School and was the widow of John Robert Wright. She was a homemaker and mother.
Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother: Justus M. Greer, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter: Carrie Wright Cole of Walhalla, SC; sons and daughters-in-law: Robert & Jeannie Wright and Richard & Dianne Wright all of Eastanollee; sons: J Russell Wright of Portland, ME and J Terry Wright of Eastanollee; sister: Phoebe Willis of Watkinsville; brother: Sam P. Greer of Royston; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 from the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North.
