Daniell Thomas "Tom" Fennell, age 83, of Canon, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born September 5, 1939, in Bartow, FL he was the son of the late Donald Thomas and Ruth (Dieffenwierth) Fennell. He received a BS degree in accounting at Florida Southern College and spent his working career as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Fennell was a US Navy Veteran and was a member of Lavonia First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Mary K. (Cherry) Fennell; sons and daughters-in-law: Mark Thomas and Kelley Fennell and Stephen Alan and Heidi Fennell; grandchildren: Stephen Fennell, Scott Fennell, Peter Fennell, Charlie Fennell, Samuel Fennell and Logan Love; his sister and brother-in-law: Gail and Dr. Larry Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Lavonia First Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Chitwood officiating. Military honors will be provided by the US Navy Honor Guard. Mr. Fennell's grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friend at the church on Saturday the 15 ^th beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Tom to Lavonia First Baptist Church Building Fund P.O. Box 47 Lavonia, GA 30553.
