Obituary
Mr. Thomas Henry "Tom" Warren, 92, of Golf Course Road, Hartwell, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at Landmark Hospital, Athens GA.
Born on March 8, 1925 in Conyers GA, he was the son of the late Reeno Jones Warren and Gladys Mae Rooks Warren.Mr. Warren was retired from the Accounting Department of Coca Cola Bottling Company of Atlanta.He also was a member of the American Legion Post #109, Hartwell Golf Club and was a veteran of WW II, where he served in the U. S. Navy in the Pacific Theater.
Survivors include a daughter: Debbie Lewis of Hartwell, three sons: Wayne Harrison of Rome GA, Rick Warren of Fitzgerald GA and Ronnie Warren of Doraville GA; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his wife: Carol Clarkson Warren; two brothers: Jerry Warren and Jule Warren and a sister: Blanche Garrison.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Military Honors.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.The family is at the home.
