Mrs. Tommie Faye Greer Broome, 77, of 94 Cade St, Hartwell, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on July 14, 1931 in Hart County GA, she was the daughter of the late Louise Reynolds Teat and Fred Teat.She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Broome is survived by her husband, James Broome; two daughters, Brenda Crowe of Carnesville and Shelby Brewer of Elberton; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild and a brother, Leo Teat of Hartwell.Mrs. Broome was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Edward Bailey and Monroe Weaver and two daughters, Connie Weaver and Linda Smith.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Benson Bottoms officiating.Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
