Mr. Tommy Spencer Brown, 77, of Ankerich Road, Bowersville, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at his home.

Born on February 19, 1941 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Joe M. Brown and Lorene Herring Brown.Mr. Brown was a retired line supervisor from Monroe Auto Equipment Co. and a farmer. He also was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Mary Ann Phillips Brown; two sons: Greg Brown & Scott Brown (Jennifer) all of Bowersville; three brothers: Julius Brown & Ken Brown both of Hartwell and Eddie Brown of High Point, NC; one sister: Kathryn Griffin of Bowersville; seven grandchildren: Kevin McDonald, Kayla McDonald, TJ Brown, Kinsley Brown, Hayden Brown, Sawyer Brown & Spencer Brown and two great-grandchildren: Layken Brown and Braylen Harrison also survive.Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents: a son: Todd Brown; a daughter: Pam McDonald; two brothers: Owen Brown & Winston Brown and a sister: Jeanette Kay.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Milltown Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Patton, Rev. Ken Brewer and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Milltown Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening.The family is at the home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Milltown Baptist Church, c/o Brenda Chitwood, 151 Fleming Circle, Hartwell, GA 30643.
