Mr. Thomas Milford "Tommy" Cothran, age 56, of Swainsboro, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Born August 17, 1958, in Athens, he was the son of the late Thomas E. Cothran and Sarah Frances (Roach) Cothran. He was a self-employed farmer.
He is survived by his son: Brandon Cothran & Lindsey Bruce; granddaughters: Kayleigh, Kylieigh, and Keelie Cothran; brother: William Cothran & Kathy; sisters: Linda Martin, Judy Head & Mike, Nancy Carey & Bradley, and Ann Hoff & John; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the service. At other hours the family will be at their respective homes. Flowers are optional or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
