Mr. Tommy A. Dutton, 67, of West Franklin Place, Hartwell, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at Kindred Hospice IPU at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, Athens, GA.

Born on June 15, 1950 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Paul Dutton and Vilee K. Lawrence Dutton.Mr. Dutton was a residential construction carpenter and of the Holiness Faith.

Survivors include three sons: Paul Dutton of Carrollton, GA, Tony Dutton of Sevierville, TN, Tim Dutton of Greenville, SC; three brothers: Wilber Dutton of Anderson, Kendall Dutton of Columbia, Grady Dutton of Toccoa; five sisters: Parney Dickerson of Canon, Sara Ann Davis of Elberton, Laxa Harris of Canon, Tincie Hardy of Elberton, and Cathy Beavers of Bowman; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild also survive.Mr. Dutton was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Paul Dutton, Jr., Larcie Dutton and one sister: Shirley Dutton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.The family will be at the home of Jimmy and Parney Dickerson, 478 Bethany-Bowersville Road, Canon, GA 30520.
