Mr. Thomas Paul "Tommy" Hanvey, age 46, of 50 Hidden Hills Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Hart County Hospital.
Born March 28, 1962 in Elberton, GA, he is the son of Janie "Jo Ella" Bond Hanvey of Hartwell, GA and the late William Edgar Hanvey.He was formerly employed with Honeywell as a Machine Shop Mechanic.
He is survived by:Mother; Brother, Edgar Hanvey of Jacksonville, FL; Sisters, Anita Martin of Jefferson, GA, JoAnne Bowen of Anderson, SC, Peggy Seymour of Hartwell, GA, and Judy Forrest of Anderson, SC; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. David Toulson will officiate.Burial will be in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Elberton, GA.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at the home of Peggy and Danny Seymour, 116 Cherry Circle, Hartwell, GA.
