Mr. Thomas Everett "Tommy" O'Barr, age 63, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his home.
Born January 16, 1955, in Stephens County, he was the son of the late Jack Everett O'Barr and Elizabeth Ann (Smith) O'Barr. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter: Tonya O'Barr; granddaughter: Shalisha O'Barr; great-grandsons: Willie Antwon Brown, Jr and Jay'Andrien Sewell; and brother: Johnny O'Barr.
The memorial service will be held as part of his mother's funeral service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Don Scott officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the service.
