Mr. Thomas Raymond "Tommy" Seltzer, 55, of Hartwell, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home.

Born on April 28, 1966 in Fairfax, VA, he was the son of the late James Leroy Seltzer and Carolyn Ann Collie Seltzer. Mr. Seltzer was a former truck driver for Carry-On Trailers, and he was of the Baptist faith. He was also an avid college football and New York Giants fan.

Survivors include his son: Colin Seltzer of Warrenton, VA; daughter: Cassie Seltzer of Warrenton, VA; brother: James Seltzer (Krista) of Fairfax, VA; and sister: Coleen Cooper (Preston) of Midland, VA.

Mr. Seltzer wished to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 105 West Park Dr, Suite C, Athens, GA 30606.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
