Mr. James Anthony "Tony" Adams, 57, of Statham, GA, formerly of Hartwell, passed away November 10, 2021 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Born on December 6, 1963 in Elberton, GA, he was the son of Kenton L. Adams and Corene Gulley Adams. Mr. Adams was of the Baptist faith

Survivors include his parents: Kenton & Corene Adams of Hartwell; daughter: Jennifer Doss (Jonathan) of Lexington, GA; brother: Mike Adams (Sheila) of Hartwell; sister: Allison Adams Farrow of Hartwell; four grandchildren: Hailey & Morgan Davis, and Matthew & Levi Doss; his companion: Kolleen Wilson and several nieces and nephews also survive.

It was Tony's wishes to be cremated and a memorial service will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. John Silver officiating. A visitation will follow the service.

The family is at their respective homes. Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
