Mr. Tony Lamar Floyd, 49, of Bowersville, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born August 21, 1957 in Royston, Georgia, he was a son of Clifton "Pete" Floydand Rachael Davis Floyd.He was a farmer and business owner.He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, founder of the River of Life Restoration Ministries and a host of Angel Food.
He is survived by loving wife Lettie Owens Floyd; sons: Calen Lamar Floyd and his wife Georgia of Lavonia and Dustin Lawrence of Bowersville; one grandson: Harley Floyd and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Lavonia.Rev. Rick Darby, Rev. Bobby Griffin and Rev. Kenneth Jones will officiate.Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
