Obituary
Mrs. Totsie Crump Bailey, 79, of W. Howell St., Hartwell, died Saturday, February 21 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on May 13, 1929 in Hart Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Crump and Velma Cleveland Crump.She was a retired seamstress for Bellcraft Mfg. Co. and a former Caterer.She was Hart Co. Mother of the Year in 1989.She was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church and worked in the nursery for 50 years.
Survivors include her two sons, Gene Bailey and Jimmy Bailey both of Hartwell; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Bailey; a daughter, Judy Bryant; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Bailey; a great-grandson, Riley Shaw and a brother, Jimmy Crump.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 23 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Coleman and Rev. Joe Black officiating.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Connie Mack Bowers officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.The family is at the home of a son, Gene Bailey, 2716 Mt. Olivet Rd., Hartwell GA.
