Mr. Jeffrey Trae Crump, 53, of Mt. City, GA, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at his home.

Born on September 22, 1964 in Hartwell, GA he was the son of Billy N. Crump and Sue Duck Conner.Mr. Crump was a self-employed residential contractor and attended the Church of God.

Survivors include his parents: Billy N. Crump of Canon GA and Sue D. Conner and her husband Steve of Mt. City GA; one son: Jeffrey M. Crump of Mt. City GA; one brother: Neal Crump and his wife Nina of Clayton GA; two sisters: Kim Simond of Mt. City GA, and Beth Hammond of Bowling Green KY and maternal grandmother Annie Mae Duck.Mr. Crump was preceded in death by his companion: Rhonda Maxwell and one brother: "Beck" Crump.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Slate Bauknight officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Church of God.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.The family is at the home.
