Trena LuJean Bowman Moon, aged 58, of Canon, peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Born on August 31, 1966, in East Point, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Mike Bowman and Theresa Collins Bowman Cobb. Trena's warmth and genuine love for people naturally led her to a fulfilling career as a cashier at Walmart, where she brightened the days of those she met. Above all, her heart was devoted to her family, whom she loved dearly. Trena was a proud member of the Baptist faith.

Trena's memory will be lovingly carried forward by her sons, Eddie Williams, Mickey (Hannah) Williams, and Jessie (Amy) Williams; her treasured grandchildren, Levi, Nevaeh, Noah, and Kastyn Williams; her brother, Michael Bowman; her sister, Melissa (Kevin) Turner; and her special friends, Carol Douglas and Kerri Albarran.

A celebration of Trena's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the funeral home chapel. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery. The family invites friends to gather for a time of remembrance and support at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the service begins.
