Mr. Troy Scott Coulter, 42, of Ridgewood Drive, Hartwell, died December 19, 2013 in Anderson SC.

Born on July 24, 1971 in Columbus GA, he was the son of Judith Coleman Coulter and the late Charles Michael Coulter.Troy was a graduate of Clemson University, former Electrical Engineer for Georgia Power Company and a member of the Frist Baptist Church of Hartwell.

Survivors include his mother: Judy C. Coulter of Hartwell; a son: Kanyon Coulter of Hartwell; a sister: Traci C. Posey & her husband Chad of Hartwell and two brothers: Tim Coulter & his wife Marie of Watkinsville GA and Todd Coulter & his wife Sheri of Martin also survive.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 21 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. Hugh Kirby officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. The family is at the home of his mother, Judy Coulter, 674 Ridgewood Drive, Hartwell.
