Trudy Wright Bailey, age 76, of Hartwell, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC. Born on January 10, 1949, in Lavonia, she was the daughter of the late T. B. and Helen Vaughn Wright.

Trudy dedicated much of her life to hard work and serving others. She retired from Berle Manufacturing, after many years of service in packing. Additionally, she brought joy to many as a longtime server at Gumlog Bar-B-Q, where her warm smile greeted everyone who visited.

Trudy's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her infectious smile, heartfelt kindness, and loving nature left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and warmth will be cherished by those she leaves behind.

In addition to her parents, Trudy was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Bailey, Sr. She is survived by her beloved husband, Louie Bailey; her son, James Bailey; and her sister, Sylvia Fulbright. Trudy also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Timothy Bailey, Jr. (Haley), Amber Leard (Blake), Stephen Bailey (Sara), Jonah Bailey, Jaron Bailey, Ethan Bailey, Lauren Bailey, and Caitlin Bailey, along with twelve beloved great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at Shoal Creek Baptist Church on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Rev. Gary Hulsey. Following the service, Trudy will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.
