Obituary
Mrs. Trudy Bennett Johnson, 61, of 39 Banister Drive, Hartwell, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at her home.
Born on May 6, 1949 in Cleveland, TN, she was the daughter of the late Walter "Jeff" Bennett and Lottie Alexander Bennett. She was retired owner/operator of Trudy's Catering and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Ladies 2 & 3 Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband: J. Milton Johnson of Hartwell; one son: Darby Johnson and his wife Ashley of Bowman; one daughter: Stacie J. Sanders of Hartwell; two sisters: Pat McLane of Hartwell, and Reba Perry of Bogart; and five grandchildren: Abbie Johnson, Carter Johnson, Luke Johnson, Anna Sanders, and Libby Sanders. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Meeks and Rev. Barry Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday night.The family is at the home.Memorials may be made out to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
