Mr. Thurmond William (T.W.) Hill, age 70, husband of Martha Hill, of 192 Park Place Drive, Lavonia, died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at his home.
Born January 27, 1937, in Parsons, TN, he was a son of the late Jesse and Pearlie White Hill. He served in the US Navy in the Philippines during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Memphis State University, and owned and operated The Atlanta Electrolysis Center until his retirement. Mr. Hill was a member of the Scottish Rite, Masons, Shriners, and Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He also volunteered at the Scottish Rite Hospital. Mr. Hill spent his retirement years in Lavonia; fishing, traveling, volunteering, and following Braves baseball.
Survivors include wife: Martha Beasley Hill and brother: Bobby Hill of Decaturville, TN.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will be at the home and will receive visitors at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
