Mr. William Tyler Andrews, age 71, of Lavonia, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born March 27, 1941, in Hart County, he was the son of the late William Clarence Andrews and Cleo (Mouchet) Andrews. He was owner and operator of Andrews Dozer and Backhoe, Andrews Garage, and Tugaloo Sport Vans. Mr. Andrews was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Lavonia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Randy Andrews; a brother: Charles Andrews; and a sister: Betty Jean Harrell.
He is survived by his wife: Sara (Bratcher) Andrews; son and daughter-in-law: Rodney and Renee Andrews; grandchildren: Blake Andrews, Braden Andrews Holland & her husband Chuck, and Haley Andrews; brother: Leon Andrews; sisters: Carolyn Norris and Jonnye Sue Mauldin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Jones, Rev. Richard Bielski, and Chuck Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
