Mrs. Vickie Lewis Brady, age 58, of Lavonia, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born December 2, 1955, in Royston, she was the daughter of the late Albert R. and Sara Ruth (Browning) Norton.She was a graduate of Franklin County High School. Mrs. Brady was an Administrative Assistant for The Ford Clinic and also the Pruitt Corporation. She was a member of Franklin Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Scott Brady; daughter: Hollie White; son: Chris Lewis and his wife Christy; sisters: Ann Westmoreland and Sue Greenway; brother: Freddie Norton; grandchildren: Chance Bragg, Calin Baird, Scout Lewis and Scarlett Lewis.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother: Donald Norton, and a niece: Kelly Greenway.
Mrs. Brady's request was to be cremated and a memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Liberty Baptist Church in Carnesville with Rev. Stacy Lynch and Rev. Jonathan Barlow officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the family home 180 Hartwell Road Lavonia. Flowers are optional or memorial may be made to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Research Association.
