Mrs. Vickie Bowen Thompson Fagan, age 48, of 132 Woodlake Landing, Hartwell, Ga., died Wednesday October 11, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born September 7, 1958 in Hart County, Georgia, she is the daughter of Betty King Bowen of Hartwell, GA and the late Edward Bowen.She was a Parent Aide at Chastatee Counseling Center in Dahlonega, GA and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
She is survived by: Mother; Husband, John R. "Butch" Fagan of Hartwell, GA; Daughter, Sharon Habel and husband Bill of Hartwell, GA; Three sons, Kevin Thompson and his wife Crystal of Hartwell, GA, Brian Thompson of Hartwell, GA and Matthew Fagan of Charlotte, NC; and Sister, Connie Hayes of Hartwell, GA.Five grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church.Rev. Terry Meeks will officiate.Cremation will follow after the service.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Friday night from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Bill and Sharon Habel, 64 W. Howell Street, Hartwell, GA.Family requests no flowers and memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church Youth Programs, P.O. Box 746, Hartwell, GA30643.
