Mr. Victor Allison Farmer, 49, of Sunset Road, Canon, died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at his home.

Born on July 3, 1965 in Elberton GA, he was the son of Bob Martin and Floy Ann (Baker) Martin.Victor was formerly employed at Carry-On Trailers and a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church.He loved playing the guitar, making music, and playing pool.

Survivors include his parents Bob and Floy Ann Martin of Hartwell; his wife: Gail (Oakes) Farmer of the home; children: Dwight "Bubba" Farmer of Hartwell, Victoria F. Sayer of Hartwell, Jennifer Bridges of Athens, Shaunna Scott of Calhoun Falls SC, Danny "DJ" Scott; brother: Mitchell Farmer and Tonya of Hartwell; and sisters: Helen Brown and Tim of Hartwell and Barbara Walters and Paul of Hartwell. He was preceded in death by a grandmother: Maebell Baker.

Funeral services will Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Dorsey Holmes officiating.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
