Obituary
Ms. Virginia Eloise "Ginger" Johnson Cawthorn, 73, of 440 Nursery Rd, Hartwell, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at her home.
Born on March 2, 1937 in Phoenix, AZ, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Johnson and Gertrude Babcock Johnson. She was a retired Administrative Secretary for the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers and Wal-Mart Accounting Department and a member of the Christian Faith Center.
Survivors include three sons, Todd Cawthorn of Dallas, TX, Marc Cawthorn of Hartwell, and Matt Cawthorn of Hartwell; and three grandchildren, Jacob Cawthorn, Cameron Cawthorn, and Evan Cawthorn.Ms. Cawthorn was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Faith Center with Pastor Matt Cawthorn officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night.The family is at the home. Memorial may be made to the Christian Faith Center, 1128 Liberty Hill Church Rd, Hartwell, GA 30643
