Mrs. Virginia Usher Collins, age 92 of 261 Fairview Avenue, died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Hart Care Center
Born September 15, 1916 in Egypt, GA, she was the daughter of the late Hezzie Graham Usher and Lizzie Mae Mock Usher.She was a retired Dental Hygienist with Fulton County Health Department.She attended Bio Baptist Church; and was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #57 and the Pilot Club of Atlanta.
Survivors include:Daughter, Carole Bell and her husband, Connie of Dewy Rose, GA; Sister, Madyline Gillis of Jacksonville, FL; Four granddaughters, five great grandchildren and three great great grandsons also survive.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, William W. Collins and a Brother, H.G. Usher.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Doug Brown will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday from 1 -2:00 p.m. prior to service.The family requests no flowers; memorials may be made to Hart Care Center Activity Fund in Memory of Virginia Collins, 261 Fairview Avenue, Hartwell, GA30643.
