Mrs. Virginia Mae (Flinchum) Dunson, age 83, of Lavonia, died Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at her home.
Born February 14, 1924, in London KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Russell and Lena Belle (White) Flinchum. She was a hairdresser and was a member of Bowersville Church of God.
Survivors include her husband: Franklin Richard Dunson; daughter: Lena Bolay of Royston; sons: John Thomas Holt of Royston and William Earl Holt of Villa Rica; sister: Margaret Bryant of Austin, TX; brother: John Allen Flinchum of Vero Beach, FL; Eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren
Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home
The family will be at the home 948 Allen Farm Rd. Lavonia.
