Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Kellett Kemble 86, of Hartwell, GA., died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at her residence.
Born November 15, 1920 in Milwaukee, WI, she was the daughter of the late Edward Kellett and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Emma Cornell Lester and Leonard Lester. She was a housewife and was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhea Kemble Dignam, New York, NY.She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward Duston Kemble and a brother, Clyde Kellett.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church.Rev. Jim Clarke and Rev. Herschel Atkinson will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter, 870 Bear Creek Road, Lavonia, GA30553 or to the Hart County Humane Society, P.O. 1062, Hartwell, GA30643.
