Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Ethridge Vickery, 78, of 116 Airline Goldmine Road, Bowersville, GA, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, GA.
Born August 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Homer M. Ethridge and Nellie Cole Ethridge.She was seamstress – inspector for the Hartwell Mfg. Co. She was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church and a member of the Encourager Sunday School Class.
She is survived by:Husband: Joel Dean Vickery; Son: Wayne Vickery and his wife Angela of Gainesville; Sister: Alta Holbrook of Hartwell; and Two grandchildren: Bobby and Brad Vickery. She is preceded in death by: sister: Retha Temples.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from the Cross Roads Baptist Church.Rev. David Wilson will officiate.There will be a private family burial prior to the service in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
