Vivien Elaine Moore Payne Howard, aged 73, of Martin, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Providence Health Care in Sparta.

Born on August 4, 1952, in Oxford, England, Vivien was the daughter of the late James Albert Moore and Mozelle Willis Gayheart. She dedicated her professional life to McCord-Wynn, where she retired as a operator.

Vivien was known for her love of shopping and was an avid reader. She found joy and relaxation in coloring. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a devoted member of the Rock Quarry Congregational Holiness Church.

Vivien leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her husband, David Howard; daughters, Tabatha (Russ) Adams and Michelle (Kevin) Smith; son, Josh (Brandy) Payne; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Melissa Howard, her great-granddaughter, Riverlyn Adams, and brother Kerry Moore.

In accordance with her request, Vivien will be cremated, and no public services will be held at this time.
