Mr. Willie Doyle Andrews, 86, of Hartwell, GA died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at his daughter's home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
He was a native of Franklin County and was a longtime resident of Hartwell where he was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge.
Surviving is one daughter, Helen Andrews Stripling of Hinesville, GA; one grand¬daughter Joy Stripling Smiley and husband Michael Smiley of Hinesville; three sisters, Nell Gehrke of Merritt Island, FL, Fay Massey of Elberton and Reba Patenella of Rogers, AR; and one brother Robert Andrews of Elberton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Sue Royston Andrews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 17, 2006 at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Hartwell, GA with Dr. Hugh Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Andrews, Bob Smith, Floyd Norris, Jimmy O'Dell, Dennis Andrews, Melvin Andrews and John Andrews. Honorary pallbearers will be Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge.
