Obituary
Mr. W.C. "Bill" Knott, age 93, of 3150 Knott Landing, Elberton, GA, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Hart County Hospital.
Born November 23, 1916 in Carrollton, GA, he was the son of the late Bill Knott and Emily Knott.She was retired from Sealtest Dairies as the Fleet Superintendent.He attended First Baptist Church of Hartwell and was Twice President of Fleet Superintendent Association.
He is survived by:Sons, Larry Knott of Watertown, TN, William Knott of Carrollton, GA and Mark Knott of Elberton, GA; Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two half-brothers, Ernest H. "Jr" Copeland of Carrollton and JK Harris of Atlanta and a sister, Dot Marley of Jonesboro also survive.He is preceded in death by his Parents and Wife, Barbara Green Knott.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Carter Tucker and Dr. Steve Williams will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
