Obituary
Mr. William David Wilson, 79, of 6001 Bowman Highway, Hartwell, died peacefully, Friday, February 1, 2013 at Heardmont Nursing Home in Elberton.
Born on November 29, 1933 in Decatur, GA, he was the son of the late John Andrews Wilson and Bertha Montine Welborn Wilson.He was a member of Bio Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers: Johnny Wilson of Hartwell, Ralph Wilson of Decatur; three sisters: Ina Greer of Atlanta, Mary Johnson of Decatur, Earline Bridges of Tucker; several nieces and nephews also survive.Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice Hardin Wilson and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery in Tucker, GA with Rev. Dale Zaboroskie officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening.The family is at the home.
