Obituary

Mr. Walter Fox, age 91, of Martin, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at his home.
Born May 5, 1925, in Newcastle, PA, he was the son of the late Walter Garfield Fox and Rose (Morrow) Fox. He was retired from the U. S. Forest Service as a senior forester. Mr. Fox was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U. S. Army Air Forces on B-24 Liberators as a navigator.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Warner and Pat Fox; daughter and son-in-law: Karen and Charles Garnto; sister: Ruth Kozak; and grandchildren: Leah and Ben Parker, Andrew Fox, and Karly Garnto. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Norma (Miller) Fox.
Mr. Fox was cremated in accordance with his request. The family will be holding a celebration of life ceremony 2 p.m. Sunday, October 23 at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home, 201 Morningside Dr. Buford GA 30518. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Airpower Heritage Museum, P.O Box 764769 Dallas TX 75376 (Please mark any donation: For the endowment of the nose art collection/ Walter Fox).
