Mrs. Wanda Pearl Burkes Dockery, 72, of 140 Thermon Adams Road, Dewy Rose, GA, diedWednesday, February 25, 2009 at Hart County Hospital.
She is survived by:Son, David Lynn Dockery of Bowman, GA; Daughters, Terry Ann Maxwell of Dewy Rose, GA and Kimberly Gail Dockery of Hartwell, GA; Brother, BoBo Thomas of Opelika, AL; Sisters, Mary Strong of Opelika, AL, Janice Chastain of Salem, SC and Linda May of Opelika, AL; Eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by Parents; Husband, William B. Dockery; Son, Rickey Barnett Dockery; Daughter, Barbara Louise Howell and a Brother, Michael Burkes.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Holly Springs Baptist Church.Rev. Mike Westbrook will officiate.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m. The family is at the home.
