Mr. Wayne Lee Bowers, 68, of Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at his home.

Born on April 8, 1947 in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late Derwood Lee Bowers and Susie Fleming Bowers.Mr. Bowers was co-owner & co-operator of Fisher Products of Hartwell.He was a former member of the Hart County Jaycees and a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Vickie McClellan Bowers; his brother: Bob Bowers and his wife Pam of Hartwell, a niece: Nikki Bowers; a nephew: Cory Bowers and his wife Katie and a great nephew: Brett Sprayberry.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening.The family is at the home.
