Mr. Edward Wayne Brock, 74, of Kesler Road, Canon, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia.

Born on December 6, 1946 in Martin GA, he was the son of the late Edward Hugh Brock and Leone Hembree Brock.Mr. Brock was a retired Welder for Duke Power Company, member of the Bethany Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife: Kathy Stowe Brock; two daughters: Mandi Sutton (Chris) of Canon and Nikki Gibson (Brandon) of Lavonia; two brothers: Winfred Brock and Mike Brock (Kathy) all of Lavonia; four grandchildren: Payton Sutton, Walker Sutton, Kaylyn Gibson and Grayson Gibson also survive.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Brock will be held Monday, September 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Durham, Rev. Luther Thompson and Mr. Tim Jones officiating.Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.
