Mr. Daniel Wayne Massey, 67, of Hartwell, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at his home.

Born on August 17, 1957 in Royston GA, he was the son of Jan Temples Miller and the late Willie Massey.  Mr. Massey was a truck driver for Herring Gutter & Insulation, and he was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his mother: Jan Temples Miller; three sons: Jeremy Massey (Samantha) of Starr, SC, Terry Massey (Jennifer) of Hartwell, and Jonathan Ray Harris of Hartwell; two sisters: Margaret Vassar (Wallace) and Shirley Partain (David), all of Hartwell; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Massey is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Gail Crittendon Massey; and one sister: Sandy Huguley.

Wayne wished to be cremated and there are no formal services planned at this time.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
