Wayne Cameron Whitfield, age 67, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born May 21, 1956, in Seneca, SC, he was the son of the late Charles C. and Sarah Grace Farmer Whitfield. Before retirement he worked as self-employed carpenter and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

He is survived by his aunt: Dena Farmer of Lavonia; cousin: Danny Farmer of Martin; special friend: Linda Harraid of Canton, TX; and numerous other cousins also survive.

Mr. Whitfield was cremated in accordance with his request. No formal services are scheduled at this time.
