Mr. WC Moon, 73, of 306 Lake Pointe Rd., Hartwell GA, died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA

Born October 24, 1934 in Franklin Co., GA, he was the son of the late James Moon and Lila Cape Moon.He was retired from U.S. Army Corps of Engineer.He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, Dr. Raymond Wilson Sunday School Class; Past Deacon and Past Chairman of Grounds and Recreation Committee.He was also a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by:Wife, Carol Vickery Moon of the home; Son, Mike B. Moon and his wife Diane of Anderson, SC; Daughters, Suzette Moon Christopher and her husband Chase of Anderson, SC and Terry Moon Martinez of Atlanta, GA; Brothers, JD Moon of Hartwell, GA and Quinton Moon of WA; Sisters, Annie Ruth Vickery of Hartwell, GA, Grace Baker of Hartwell, GA and Jean Blanton of Anderson, SC; Four grandchildren, Chase Christopher, Caroline Christopher, Michael Moon and Elizabeth Moon.He is preceded in death by Parents; Brother, Otis Moon and Sisters, Clara Sue Moon and Dessie Moon

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church.Rev. John Silver and Rev. Carter Tucker will officiate.Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body will be placed in the church at 3:30 p.m. prior to the service.
