Obituary

Mrs. Willene (Hill) Loftis Savage, age 88, of Lavonia, died Monday, October 07, 2013 at Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center.
Born May 3, 1925, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late J.B. and Lila (Kay) Hill. She retired from Lavonia Manufacturing as a textile worker. Mrs. Savage was a member of the Lavonia Church of God.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Ron and Marie Loftis; grandchildren: Kent and Kim Walker, Charlton and Jennifer Walker, Justin and Cindi Walker, Andy and JoAnne Loftis, and Natalie and Chris Holland; great-grandchildren: Foster Loftis, Alden Loftis, Will Walker, Collin Walker, Sophia Walker, Carson Walker, Montgomery Walker, Ellianna Walker, Marc Walker, and Dori Walker; and sisters: Jimmy Lou Black and Danese Brinkley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands: Vernon Loftis and Charles Savage; daughter: Jean Walker; two sisters; and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Lavonia Church of God with Rev. Adam Tripp and Dr. Larry Finger officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. At other hours, the family will be at the home of Ron and Marie Loftis. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the Lavonia Church of God.
