Mrs. Willene Alexander White, 83, of Mt. Olivet School Road, Hartwell, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Hartwell Health and Rehab.

Born on April 26, 1931 in Elberton GA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Frank "Doc" Alexander and Grace Alma Holmes Alexander.Mrs. White was retired from Hartwell Company and a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother: Wilton Alexander and Linda of Hartwell; a sister: Lucy Kate Pless and Grady of Elberton GA and several nieces and nephews also survive.Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Joe E. White; a sister: Alma Jo Carruth and four brothers: Frank Alexander, George Alexander, Raymond Alexander and Horace Alexander.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Sean Payne and Rev. Connie Mack Bowers officiating.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Wilson officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at their respective homes.
