Mr. William Charles "Bill" Le Barron, 82, of Hartwell, died Thursday, December 6 at his home.Born on May 1, 1930 in Ballston Spa, NY, he was the son of the late Elwin W. Le Barron and Mary Jones Le Barron. He was a retired accountant, a member of the North Salem Post of the American Legion and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mr. Le Barron was a veteran of the Korean war having served 8 years in the US Marine Corps.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Cole and her husband Jamesof Poughkeepsie NY; three sons: Kenneth Le Barron of Marlboro, NY, Paul Le Barron and his wife Kathleen of North Salem, NY, Eugene Le Barron and his wife Karrie of Elberton, GA; one brother, Elwin Le Barron of Hartwell; and one sister, Patricia Brust of Middlegrove, NY; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Le Barron was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Elsie Marakovitz-LeBarron, his parents; a sister, Jean Atkins; and five brothers: Kenneth LeBarron, Paul Le Barron, Ronald Le Barron, Franklin Le Barron, and Ralph Le Barron.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 10, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Rafael Castano officiating.Burial will be at the Gerald B. H. Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night with prayer service at 6:00p.m.In lieu of flowers, special memorials may be made to the American Legion, North Salem Post #1866, PO Box 511, North Salem, NY10560.
