William Howard "Coot" Brock, age 75, of Lavonia, passed away at his home.
Born January 13, 1945, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Odis and Minnie Lee (Dean) Brock. He was a graduate of Lavonia High School and a veteran of the US Army Reserves. William was an electrician by trade and retired from Henderson Electric after many years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a cousin: Juanita Gurley.
He is survived by his brother & sister-in-law: Roger & Mary Brock; niece: Charity Brock; nephew: Christopher Brock; and special cousins: Ellen Chappelear Sposato, Susan Harris, and Wanda Mansfield.
The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. The family requests that those in attendance wear masks and adhere to social distancing and public health guidelines.
