Obituary
Mr. William R. "Bill" Haley, 70, of 1303 Royston Hwy, Hartwell, died Friday, November 27, 2009 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson SC.
Born in Hart County GA, he was the son of the late William H. Haley and Kathleen Mauldin Haley Brewer.He retired from Monsanto Chemical Company as a Nylon Production Technician.He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Royston and a US Air Force veteran.
Survivors include a step-son, Greg Bolt of Columbia, SC; step-daughter, Sandra Reynolds of Greenwood SC; two brothers, Fred "Freddie" Haley of Greenville SC and Randy Haley of Hartwell; a sister, Sandra K. Kerr of St. Augustine FL also survives.He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Anna McElrath Haley.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 29 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Dan Bailey officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday Afternoon.Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson SC 29621 or Bible Baptist Church, PO Box 591, Royston, GA30662.
