Mr. William E. Lux, age 73, of Lavonia, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Gentiva Hospice of Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Born January 29, 1943 in Long Prairie, MN he was the son of Everett William and Rozella (Troug) Lux. Mr. Lux was owner of Travel Time USA.
He is survived by his wife: Sherrie (Davis) Lux of the home; sons: David M. Haberkamp of Bloomingdale, IL and Anthony G. Pope of St. Louis, MO; daughter: Stacey M. Morris of Hartwell; grandchildren: Cheyanne Taylor Morris, Jenna N. Morris and Madelyn Pope; and brother: Thomas Lux of Las Vegas, NV.
Mr. Lux's request was to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home.
